The Royal Opera House aims to enrich people's lives through opera and ballet. I graduated last year from a Textiles BA(Hons) at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in knit. I am interested in pursuing a career as a costume assistant/assistant costume supervisor in theatre, film, TV and dance, and theatrical knitting. Since graduating, I have worked with Theatrical Knitter Trevor Collins, assisting with several projects, gained administrative experience at a television production company, and completed a customised pattern cutting and fitting course at London College of Fashion. I have also gained experience on English National Opera's 'The Flying Dutchman' under costume supervisor Caroline Waterman. I am London based and am able to work freelance. Specialties: * Good sewing skills with extensive experience of hand and machine knitting * Flexible and highly motivated, with good communication and people skills, confident working independently and in a team * Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills. Always prepared, good at multi-tasking and a superb eye for detail and accuracy * Passionate about theatre, dance and film and making for performance, and eager to pursue this as a career
