At Rock Health, I'm working closely with our portfolio companies to ensure each team is connected to strategic partners and provided with the resources they need to meet every milestone. I'm constantly developing new ways to foster valuable relationships within the Rock Health community. I also manage Rock Health's operations internally.Previously, I was the co-founder of Kinsights (https://kinsights.com), an advice-sharing community for parents integrated with a pediatric health record. Kinsights was one of the first investments at Rock Health. It was acquired by Care.com (NYSE: CRCM) in December 2015.Before starting Kinsights, I worked at a variety of companies both large and small. My technical leadership at CEB (now Gartner) helped organize mountains of industry research. I was the first front-end developer hired at Viget Labs, a full-service interactive agency, creating websites for startups and corporate clients. My first job out of school was at L3 Communications working on media production ranging from video editing to print design for various military contracts. The highlight of my time at L3 Communications was joining the Army.mil web team working on front-end and back-end development.I graduated from James Madison University with a degree from the School of Media Arts and Design and a concentration in interactive media. In my free time I enjoy teaching, building things, and participating in various tech communities and groups. I've taught classes in web design and development at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University in Washington, D.C., and at General Assembly in San Francisco.
