Lead Brand Manager, Consumer Marketing

After graduating from the accredited Gordon Ford College of Business in 2019, I started my role as a territory manager for Reynolds American Inc. (BAT). This role truly enabled me to have face to face sales experience, learn the ins and outs of a wide variety of brands in Reynolds portfolio, which set the foundation for a great start to my professional career. Within a short time, I was hand-picked, accepted, and promoted to join the competitive Global Graduate Program offered by BAT/Reynolds. This accelerated program, while rigorous, helped me further my learnings, build critical thinking and strong technical skills. I not only successfully completed the program and got promoted to a full time Lead Manager role, but I was able to have some incredible experiences that are rare in early career. To name a couple, I was selected to be in a group within the company where I was involved with Senior Leadership in making positive change in the company, and another group where I had the wonderful opportunity to present ESG initiatives with my team to our C-Suite. That presentation was successful and I am still lucky enough to be working on those ESG initiatives with Senior Leaders today! These additional experiences have added so much value and perspective to my career. In just a few years of time, I have successfully transitioned through five distinct roles where I continue to be challenged, adapt quickly, and learn to deliver successful results. Through my changing experiences - adaptability, flexibility, team work, and a go-getter attitude sets me apart. My experience in sales, brand, eCommerce/metaverse, social media and communications has prepared me to take on bigger challenges in the future. Embracing change and bringing diverse thinking, despite the obstacles, is something that has helped shape me and I am always thinking about what might come next. While I’m driven, I also want to help others grow! I have been a mentor to my peers and others who are just getting started in career. Mentoring and leading others is something that I am passionate about and I will strive daily to help and support my teams.
