F. MICHAEL REILLY began working at Randall-Reilly while a student at the University of Alabama. Upon graduating, he joined Randall Publishing Company full-time, working closely with the company's chief executive officer, Pettus Randall III. Excluding two-and-a-half years at Gulf Publishing Company in Houston, Texas, he has spent his entire career with Randall-Reilly.Mr. Reilly has more than 40 years experience managing and investing in business-to-business media, data and information companies, and event businesses. He has been responsible for growing publications, websites, Randall-Reilly events, and data products.Mr. Reilly has served 6 years (2006-2012) on the Birmingham branch of the Federal Reserve Bank 6th district Atlanta,Ga.Serving as Chairman of the board of Birmingham in 2006,&2012. Mr. Reilly served 6 years on the board of directors at the Association of Business Publishers headquartered in New York City.Under Mr. Reilly's leadership, Randall-Reilly has undergone a transformation and become an innovative business-2-business information company. He was promoted to President and CEO in February of 2002 after serving as President since 1984 and President and COO since 1987. He directed a major reorganization of the company in 1984 and 1994; and in 2005, Mr. Reilly, along with Wachovia Capital Partners, purchased Randall Publishing Company from the Randall family. In February 2008, Mr. Reilly and his management team partnered with Investcorp to buy the equity of Wachovia Capital Partners. Under his direction over the years, the company has experienced phenomenal growth reaching more than $90 million in revenue and employs more than 400 associates with offices in Tuscaloosa, Chicago, Charlotte,Milwaukee and Anniston ,Al.
