I've been called a unicorn because my experience and skillsets are pretty varied and extensive. Over my career, I've done the job of a journalist, designer (both print and digital), photographer, IT helper, website developer, email newsletter builder, social media coordinator (both paid and organic), Google analytics analyst, Excel/Google Sheets guru, technology trainer, and project manager. I've led teams in day-to-day operations and in building overall strategy; set up/coded websites (B2B, B2C, Nonprofit); coordinated all aspects of webinars (from technical to client facilitation); built email newsletters; developed organizational processes for teams; developed media campaigns from beginning to end; developed and executed social media spend strategies; developed reporting automations (and lots of other kinds of automations); and the list goes on and on. Essentially, if it involves technology or the web in some variety — or communicating information/knowledge about technology in an understandable way — I've done it. As someone who has worked and led on writing/editing/publishing teams and on the technical/web/IT/data analysis side, I can communicate and translate needs, requirements and goals in a way that all teams can understand and act on. I am passionate about servant-hearted leadership and solving problems.
