With over 40 years in healthcare and 25 years at Promedica, my passion continues everyday to try to use the power of institutions to drive social change. Having spent 13 years as the President & CEO of ProMedica, a mission-driven, health & wellbeing organization, our focus on outstanding clinical care, hunger as an health issue, the social determinants of health and work as an anchor institution were the key drivers drivers of our mission & purpose. At the time ProMedica’s 55,000 care givers and 1000 employed providers serve nearly 4 million patient encounters annually at more than 700 sites, including 13 hospitals and 400 plus senior services locations in 30 states were all dedicated to create a holistic approach to health and well-being. I earned a doctorate degree in management from Case Western Reserve University, and hold two master’s degrees—in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota and in healthcare/science from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
