I am CIO and Group VP of IT for Polycom (NASDAQ: PLCM), the global leader in open standards-based unified communications and collaboration solutions. I am responsible for delivering IT services worldwide to enhance Polycom’s execution and competitiveness. I joined Polycom in 2013 as VP of I&O and CISO, leading a global team providing secure IT services for enterprise systems and storage, databases, converged networks, UC&C, and end-user services. Previously I directed the global IT infrastructure engineering team for Brocade (NASDAQ:BRCD), responsible for development of all enterprise systems, storage, network, UC&C, and endpoints for this $2.1B industry heavyweight whose data center networking solutions are used in over 90 percent of Global 1000 data centers as well as in enterprise LANs and the largest service provider networks. I am formerly head of IT for Air Methods (NASDAQ:AIRM), the world's largest commercial helicopter emergency medical services company with annual revenues in excess of $800M. With over 25 years of experience in technical leadership roles in major firms, I have managed technology solutions to complex business problems for a broad range of companies and industries ranging from numerous Fortune 500 companies to private law firms, state government and public utilities, large public and private companies and cooperatives. Having held full profit/loss responsibility and managed up to $60M operating and capital budgets, I am experienced at growing and leading high-performance IT organizations within highly regulated environments. I have been responsible for all aspects of SOX 404 and HIPAA security rule and other legislative and administrative requirements. I hold an MBA and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bellevue University and graduated cum laude from Doane College with a B.A. in Business Administration.
