Bill's diverse work experiences in business management, his MBA from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management, and his Executive Education training at The Harvard School of Business are the foundations for his successes as a C-level executive in manufacturing, financial, healthcare and technology settings. He has worked on mergers and acquisitions and business development for startup, established, and distressed companies while in some cases concurrently managing the strategy and operations of those businesses. Bill served as a Founding Partner in an early stage venture capital firm where along with raising and investing capital he continues to participate in the executive management at one of the portfolio exits, as Chief Executive Officer of COMS Interactive | A PointClickCare Company. Prior to that he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of a successful and growing $20M+ company serving aerospace, industrial and medical device markets. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Bill has led and participated on design and development teams for numerous products and systems. Utilizing agile design practices, Bill's teams designed a complete gas turbine fuel combustion system, multiple spinal fixation systems, a revolutionary spinal arthroplasty device used to restore native motion of the spine, and a complex disease management software system. Bill has been impactful to the intellectual property portfolios of multiple companies and is the co inventor on multiple US patents. The evolution and revolution of customer and business requirements require both theoretical and practical knowledge. Bill is trained in and has practiced Lean Manufacturing, Lean Implementation, and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt.
