Jaime Suarez is the Chief Digital Officer of Philip Morris International (PMI). A seasoned international business leader, Jaime is committed to driving innovation, digital transformation, and building world-class teams. Building on his 20 year career at PMI, Jaime entered his role as CDO in January 2018. As the CDO, Jaime focuses on the digital transformation of the PMI business. Throughout his career, he has developed strategies and tools that support scalable change and greater effectiveness across business units. Digital technology is a transformative force that impacts all areas of business and Jaime applies best practices in this space to engage with consumersand partners more efficiently. Jaime’s current areas of focus are developing digital solutions that drive credible demand for PMI’s Reduced Risk Products.Reduced-Risk Products (“RRPs”) is the term PMI uses to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continued smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. Because our RRPs do not burn tobacco, they produce far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful compounds than found in cigarette smoke.Jaime joined PMI as a Business Planning Analyst at Philip Morris Mexico. From 2001 to 2015, he held roles of increasing responsibility in a variety of areas such as business development, trade marketing and sales. He has played global, regional and local leadership roles for the Company.
