George Kumar is a veteran entrepreneur, bringing over two and a half decades of experience to the fine fragrance industry. Beginning his career at a very young age in his family business, Mr. Kumar has worked in every element of the fragrance business including serving as a Director of Sales and Marketing for the largest fragrance retailer in the US. His global connections in wholesale, retail and distribution expand to countries in Europe, South America, Asia, and the Middle East, among others. As President of Alpina Wholesale, his areas of expertise include brand revitalization, finance, distribution, and exclusive celebrity and high-end products, to name a few. Mr. Kumar is a multi-lingual, speaking English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Spanish. In addition to his work pursuits, Mr. Kumar is Chairman of an international non-profit organization, It's Your Karma (IYK). IYK most recently made a difference in the lives of 75 families in El Salvador with the opening of IYK Sewing Center, teaching women to become independent through the creation of public school uniforms, which are given free to students in the community.
