Karlie Ilaria Garcia is an seasoned executive with more than 25 years combined experience. For the past 15 years, Karlie has worked to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and currently leads the global diversity, inclusion and wellness efforts for leading law firm Paul Hastings LLP. In this role, she directs strategy and execution for creating a high performing culture, recruiting and developing top diverse talent, and integrating diversity concepts into the core business of the firm and within the legal industry. Karlie began her diversity career in 2008 with MasterCard Worldwide as director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, where she helped build MasterCard’s global diversity strategy and business resource groups, and was an integral part of the Executive Women’s Initiative. Karlie was previously in marketing and communications management and has worked for a variety of organizations ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to technology start-ups to large global law firms. Karlie is President of the Board of the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals and previously served on the board of the Thirty Percent Coalition, an organization whose mission is to promote gender diversity, including women of color, on corporate boards.
