Having successfully managed complex R&D, hardware and software projects and programs , my key strength is helping companies compete and adapt through transformational innovation. I'm currently running PMO, SW Engineering and IT/Infrastructure functions at a medium sized tech company serving eCommerce businesses (parent company Williams Sonoma and other 3rd party customers), thanks to innovative products and technology, cross-functional team collaboration and agile use of technology. My career has focused on delivering complex engineering projects and programs shaking up semiconductor, MEMs, biotech and medical device areas as well as more recently eCommerce platforms and experiences. During this time I worked side-by-side with cross-functional teams, partners and vendors on the toughest challenges coming up with new disruptive solutions and technologies. Successes included technologies/ideas being adopted by the major manufacturing players in the field, successful IPO of start up and/or acquisition. From a people perspective, I thrive on cultivating inclusive workplace cultures that provide the independent decision-making and accountability employees need to feel valued and provide a huge benefit to the company. I am also effective across borders and cultures. My career has taken me across continents, having lived in Belgium and the US, while project teams and partners were globally spread across different US states and countries such as India, Taiwan, UK, Switzerland.
