Having worked in research, development, professional services, technical sales and software architecture roles, I bring a well-rounded perspective that aligns commercial and technical goals. I get the most satisfaction out of making things work, whether by: - prototyping a new component to demonstrate function and structure, - documenting system architecture, interfaces, use-cases and error-cases, - understanding a system end-to-end, and using that knowledge to troubleshoot issues that don't fall obviously into any one particular area - spending time listening to my colleagues, and weaving their ideas into the design - bridging between other roles - commercial and engineering, product management and project management, architecture and development, etc., to help all sides work together I'm a roll-my-sleeves-up-and-do-it kind of person, not a tell-you-what-someone-needs-to-do kind of person.
