Ray leads Product and Operations at OppLoans, a high-growth technology and analytics start-up that provides responsible loan products. Ray runs the the BizOps team, which is responsible for Product, Partner Integrations, Operations, and Sales Operations. Ray also has experience in Business Development and Partnerships, Strategy, HR, Digital Marketing, and Data Analysis. Ray has a background in leading direct M&A investments and managing portfolio companies, and has worked in Family Offices, Corporate Development, and M&A consulting. Ray loves building things and in his spare time, provides strategic, operational, and financial advice to start-ups. He deeply enjoys finding problems and solving them using data-backed solutions, and believes that no important problem is ever easy. He lives by the motto -- "nothing ventured, nothing gained"​. In addition, Ray was on the Board of Directors of Dare2tri, a Chicago non-profit focused on helping disabled youth and adults participate in swimming, biking, and running activities. He was on Dare2tri's Board from 2012-2014 as both Finance Chair and Strategy & Operations Co-Chair, and was the 2015 "One Inspires Many" award recipient. Ray continues to volunteer for Dare2tri today.
