My personal and professional experience has taught me the following about myself: I love puzzles and challenges. To me, the term 'Like finding a needle in a haystack' actually sounds unreasonably exciting (team bonding activity, anyone?). From playing strategy games to analyzing a high level processes, I find patterns discovery, building symmetry, and organizing disarranged systems to be extremely rewarding. The concept of building 'team experience' is of great interest to me. This goes beyond building an effective team, requiring an intense team experience which includes working together to do something meaningful, actively contributing to the betterment of the team, building trust, and discovering synergies; all key ingredients of a resilient, innovative and enjoyable team. Now, Imagine if we add 'Remote Team' to building 'Team Experience'.... Did I mention I love challenges? I have come to learn that focusing on people as a starting point, be it in software or systems development, building a computer, or choosing the right shirt color, is the most effective tactic for successful outcomes, in most situations (had to add this for my engineer friends who are shaking their heads right now).
