I see a world energized by a safer, more reliable, and affordable digital energy network I've spent my career envisioning, developing and leading digital initiatives within the energy industry. The 1st half started as an automation engineer within the upstream division of an IOC in the high plains of Wyoming and then quickly progressed to applying digitally enabled improvements through various project and operational roles in the downstream end of industry; ultimately leading a digitally led transformation of their Chemical's division. This launched me on the 2nd half of my career enabling such transformations across the entire industry working in senior global leadership roles of 3 different software companies, including an early cloud solution provider. Today, I'm the global leader for SAP's Oil & Gas business during one of its most exciting periods for the application of digital technologies. Global energy demands are forecasted to continue to rise for decades to come, yet there are significant headwinds facing the Oil & Gas industry.
