Jeff Lindsay is Chief Operating Officer for Novant Health, and has led operational performance and strategic growth for the system since 2014. Jeff has three decades of experience in healthcare management and a keen understanding of the perspectives and incentives of various stakeholders. He excels at balancing the needs of key groups to create overarching strategies and building connections between them to produce the best team results. Jeff just marked his twenty-fifth year at Novant—in addition to his current position, he has also served as president of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and as CEO of the Winston Salem and eastern North Carolina regional markets. Jeff is a lifetime member of the NC Healthcare Association and has served in the past as board chair. He also has deep roots in the Winston Salem community—and most recently led the team to create Greater Winston Salem Inc, which is the economic development engine for the Triad Region. He has held key leadership roles with the Winston Salem Foundation and Winston Salem Alliance, and supports the Winston Salem Forsyth County Arts Council, the WS Symphony, and Reynolda House Museum of American Art. Jeff is a native of Alabama, and has an M.H.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and obtained his B.S. from Auburn University.
