Norwegian operates one of the world's most modern and eco-friendly fleets. On the U.S.-Caribbean routes, the airline will fly its new Boeing 737-800s with 186 comfortable, leather seats and it will be the first airline to offer free Wi-Fi on flights to the Caribbean. Norwegian will also offer customers the option to rent movies and TV shows on their personal devices. The airline currently offers 25 nonstop routes from the U.S. to London and Scandinavia, providing more European routes than any other European airline. Service from Las Vegas will commence on October 31, 2015| service from San Juan, Puerto Rico, will commence on November 1, 2015| and service from St. Croix, U.S. V.I., will commence on November 5, 2015.

My name is José Antonio Manzanedo, Aeronautical Engineer at the Polytechnics University of Madrid, specialized in aircraft structures. Now, I have decided to improve my management knowledge and I am currently studying a Master in Business and Administration (MBA) at the Business School of Barcelona. My first approach to Aviation was as Maintenance Engineer for Aernnova Aerospace, a Tier-1 Supplier company. In September 2012 I changed my role and I became part of the In-Service Engineering Team taking on greater responsibilities and new tasks. I was in charge of the design and justification (Static and F&DT) of structural repair schemes in metallic and composite materials for Aernnova`s aircrafts in case of accident or breakdown by means of Technical Instructions. Also, developing functions of production Engineering supporting Aernnova’s Repair Shop Part 145, repairing all kind of aircraft parts. This experience has given to me the skills of working in a team and under a lot of pressure and to be in straight contact to the Aeronautic field, mainly from the technical standpoint but also from the commercial point of view. After 4 years working for an aircraft manufacturer I wanted to move on to the operator’s side and I started working for Vueling as Structures & CAMO Engineer. In this position, I was in charge of the Structural damage assessment and repair processes by issuance of Engineering Orders, evaluation of Airworthiness Directives and recommended Service Bulletins and control in AMOS of all structural issues, maintaining up to date Damage charts and daily technical support for structural related queries. I was involved in the deliveries of the new brand aircrafts and Field Representative for the Heavy Maintenance checks. In June 2017, I had the opportunity to join Norwegian Air Shuttle in Barcelona, where I currently belong. I changed completely my role and I started working as Contracts Negotiator in the Technical Department. I am in charge of negotiating and writing Contracts related to all maintenance services required by an airline: Ad-hoc, Line and Base Maintenance, Part-M Subcontracted services, Engine and APU shop maintenance, Engine lease, components shop visits, Wheels and Brakes and other components, etc. All issues related with EASA requirements are under my responsibility, having full knowledge of EASA Appendix XI and Appendix II agreements. After December 2018, also working as Airworthiness Review Engineer and approved EASA Form 4 by the CAA of Norway for Norwegian Air Shuttle & Norwegian Air Norway.
