Having over 33 years of experience in contracts, contract management , administration and financial management. My strongpoints are cost/price analysis, and securing and managing vendor relationships. My career started in the expediting field with Raytheon Missile Systems in Bristol Tennessee and was promoted to Buyer to the Raytheon Electromagnetic Division in Santa Barbara, California, both being DOD facilities. worked for EG&G Inc. U.S. Dept. of Energy Energy Measurements Inc. then moved to Baltimore MD to work for the University of Maryland Baltimore. As a contractor I have worked for various Government Agencies as NOAA U.S. Dept. of Commerce, U.S. Labor Statistic, Broadcast Board of Governors, U.S. Coast Guard Yard, FAA Dept. of Transportation, U.S.D.A Rural Development, U.S Army Base Aberdeen, Defense Health Agency just to name a few. As a Contract Administrator/Contract Specialist at the U.S.D.A Rural Development, I reviewed open orders to ensure proper closure of received item, modifications as required, and contractor compliance. I am prepared to work for various industries and as well Government and Local Government; I efficiently monitored contracts orders totaling in excess of 500 million dollars, and (IDIQ)contracts. Have successfully negotiated best prices for both products and services. Acquired several certifications from FAA in PRISM and Delphi, U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Navel and Electronic Support and Supply System (NESSS), Deltek, Comprizon Suite from Dept. of Commerce NOAA, PADDS U. S. Army Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Experienced : DoD 5000 Acquisition Process, RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI. Experience with IDIQ, GWAC, FFP, T&M, CPAF, and CPFF contracts and various Gov't vehicles NASA SEWP, GSA, FEDBIZOPPS, and FPDS.
