The National Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league currently composed of 30 member clubs.

My career spans over 20 years in digital, social and traditional media, with experience in direct to consumer initiatives, product and brand marketing, cross-platform content distribution, and business development. I have been successful in launching and marketing innovative digital services for leading media companies and sport leagues and for startups with successful exits. Currently I am Vice President of the National Hockey League where I have led development and marketing of best in class mobile services, as well as leading the marketing and monetization efforts around digital services and tech innovation to bring millions of fans closer to the game. Here’s a couple of highlights: Launched and marketed award winning and top grossing OTT app; digital services touch 20+m fans and billions of video views Part of two startups with successful exits: Vicinity Corporation (IPO 2000, acquired by Microsoft 2002), i3 Mobile (IPO 2000) Led development of first mobile services for NBC’s 200+ O&O and Affiliate Stations Part of small team that created and distributed next gen mobile services including messaging and voice services in 2001 (think Siri), location based services in late 90’s, and app publishing tools (pre-iphone) Built international publishing division at Golf Digest, one of the largest global titles, spanning 30 editions in 50 countries, published in 17 languages Published three golf instructional books and produce an instructional video with world famous instructor Jim McLean Created one of the first sports blogs (starting late 90’s) with media coverage from Sports Illustrated, O’Reilly Factor, Howard Stern and interviews with dozens of sports radio programs Drummer in a successful San Francisco based band; produced CD that was distributed in retail across America; opened for bands including Train, Stroke9, and Oleander Advisor to a few startups I am passionate about; Mentor to emerging startups across multiple industries
