The spark that ignited my path as an HR leader was formed initially with an award-winning HR team at a fast growing pharmaceutical company. We were integral to company success in developing a highly engaged workforce, a strong culture, and growth fueled by top notch hires. That experience provided the basis for a value-driven HR philosophy throughout my career. I further built my career in human resources with a practical, down to earth approach in my partnerships. My intention is to be an effective change agent while building and maintaining positive relationships. I thrive on challenging situations where flexibility, creativity and a “can do” approach make a difference…with a sense of humor thrown in for good measure. Key areas where I’ve made a difference are in: - Organization Design: Led organization design projects for several development and process engineering groups. Resulted in streamlined, more effective operations. - Talent Acquisition: Recruited multiple scientific and engineering roles at various levels. Implemented efficiency process improvements for technical assessments in interviewing and selecting top talent. - Management Development: Developed and led successful lunch & learn series covering topics such as improving employee recognition, agile leadership, and other subjects improving management effectiveness and employee engagement.
