Senior Stakeholder Engagement Adviser

NEL CSU provides expert support and advice to help clinical commissioners to deliver improved health services to local populations. We deliver an extensive range of services from contracting and analytics to finance and communications. We provide services to 28 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedford, Luton and East Anglia, representing more than seven million people. We also deliver a range of support services and bespoke solutions to healthcare organisations across England, including hospital trusts, GP practices, mental health trusts, NHS England and local authorities. We support customers to achieve their ambitions for improving health services through providing specialist advice and information, underpinned by local knowledge and relationships.

An experienced customer focused senior communications specialist who has worked in health, local and central government in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. With over ten years’ experience working in senior communications roles in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) Savaia has a wealth of experience across strategy, public relations, crisis and media management, internal, stakeholder communications and engagement.Her experience includes leading NEL CSU’s media team of six and responsibility for the communications relationship with clinical commissioning groups in inner east London. She has a flair for building relationships and passion for community engagement through publications and marketing as well as community events and campaigns.Savaia has an excellent track record with quality community engagement. In 2016 she advised and successfully implementing community and stakeholder engagement for the mayor of Wellington’s annual plan 2016/17 consultation. When head of communications for Newham Primary Care Trust, the PCT gained the highly coveted top mark for communications and engagement in the final World Class Commissioning assessment.
