Senior Communications Manager

NEL CSU provides expert support and advice to help clinical commissioners to deliver improved health services to local populations. We deliver an extensive range of services from contracting and analytics to finance and communications. We provide services to 28 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedford, Luton and East Anglia, representing more than seven million people. We also deliver a range of support services and bespoke solutions to healthcare organisations across England, including hospital trusts, GP practices, mental health trusts, NHS England and local authorities. We aim to be the leading provider of commissioning support, delivering insight, innovation and excellence. We support customers to achieve their ambitions for improving health services through providing specialist advice and information, underpinned by local knowledge and relationships.

I am a communications specialist with 10 years’ experience working across both the UK and Australia. I have recently returned to Australia after 8 years in London.My broad experience includes change communications, corporate communications, internal and external senior strategic communications planning, staff leadership and training, and project management. Working within the communications function of the NHS in England, a healthcare organisation that employs more than 1.5 million people, putting it in the top five of the world’s largest workforces, the environment we operated in was constantly changing and evolving. My skill based adapted to this changing environment whilst providing the highest quality of communications advice. I am known for for my ability to effectively and calmly manage internal and external communication crises, my tactics and approach to engaging with audiences throughout times of significant change and my strategic corporate communications planning and delivery.With experience across smaller and larger teams I am a motivated and strong team player who thrives in a challenging, multi-stakeholder and multichannel environment. I can easily partner with colleagues from all levels and build proactive professional relationships, working hard to see the results each organisation and team deserve.
