Nedbank CIB Private Equity invests equity capital in acquisitions, buyouts and the expansion of mid-market unlisted companies.
Marthin has been a principal in the Nedbank Private Equity team since 2003 following the merger of Nedbank, BoE Merchant Bank and Nedcor Investment Bank businesses. Prior to this, Marthin was a Vice-President in the Corporate Equities Division of Nedcor Investment Bank. Before joining Nedcor Investment Bank in 2001, Marthin was Head of Workout and Restructuring at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa which he first joined in 1993 in the financial investigations department. Prior to that, Marthin service articles at Ernst & Young (now EY) in Johannesburg.
