Seeking opportunities in forward-reaching companies to lead the area of Digital Innovation. As a past CIO in two different companies, Doug has led fast-moving, agile work teams using ideas and successes from different industries to create competitively differentiating approaches to customer and worker experiences. Examples of his leadership start with Banking where neural net systems were lifted from Manufacturing to forecast the cash levels needed in branches and ATM's. This allowed overnight investments of cash to gain new revenue without increasing fees. Another was using pattern analytics to craft a way to find price-elastic patterns from OEM aftermarket parts and thus increase prices while at the same time increasing market share on a part/customer basis instead of 'across the board' price increases. Doug established bi-modal teams to utilize unconventional thinking and iterative approaches to digital deployment. Doug has combined social media platforms, with cloud-based data sources to drive an innovative mobile solution. Having worked and lived internationally, Doug has experience in different cultures and a successful record of blending teams of different backgrounds. Doug gained much of his business experience in dealing with ERP turnarounds. He has worked with Oracle, Baan, and other ERP platforms to be proficient at extracting pattern data for business benefit.
