Currently providing advisory services in corporate development including M&A; operational evaluation & design; executive coaching and mentoring; and all things corporate finance. Former public-company Chief Financial Officer [NASDAQ: NAVG], key member of Global Leadership Team and Board Member of its two U.S. insurance companies, Lloyd's of London Syndicate and two Continental European companies (Belgium and Luxembourg). Prior thereto, Mr. DeFalco was Senior Vice President & Group Planning Officer of White Mountains Re Group, the reinsurance subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group [NYSE: WTM]. Ciro has held a variety of senior corporate finance, controllership and treasury positions at White Mountains, Marsh & McLennan Companies/Johnson & Higgins and other insurance and financial services industry firms. He is a graduate of Pace University (B.B.A., Accounting) and Columbia University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A., Finance & Management), is accredited as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and several State Associations.
