I own and run the Whitehall and Arlington hotels in Bournemouth with my husband Bernard Uzzell. We have been doing this since 2003. We also run Bowlaway which specialises in arranging 'all inclusive' bowls tours to Bournemouth. We also host other activity holidays for groups including bridge, scrabble, chess as well as creative breaks, and mind, body and spirit retreats. We have regular visits from family parties, reunions, masonic weekends and holidays for specialist groups like walkers, golfers and cyclists. My specialities are marketing, strategy, sales and business development. I am passionate about economic development especially supporting SMEs to grow in tourism and the creative and digital industries. I am enjoying being a board member of the Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership.
