Roscoe Bufkin is a polished executive with 20 years of business leadership experience in marketing, communications, public relations, event management, customer entertainment, sales, operations, human development, and more. As Vice President of Marketing Communications for Mueller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLI), a Fortune 1000 holding company, he oversees Corporate Marketing, which supports the many subsidiaries and internal departments that help generate the corporation's multi-billion annual revenue. His work involves developing and executing the visions, strategies, processes, tools, and services needed for various markets, distribution channels, and customer/end-user sets. Roscoe oversees brand management and trademark use worldwide and is highly involved in the company's corporate communications, relations efforts, and other critical work. He often describes Marketing as "anything that touches the customer" and is frequently involved in varied and simultaneous initiatives. He is also in charge of the corporation's Career Development Program, which helps recruit, develop, and mentor select young college professionals for future success in sales, engineering, accounting, and other disciplines. Roscoe maintains active involvement in many professional associations and community organizations. His service has included chairing the American Supply Association's National Marketing Committee, the Board of Directors of the University of Memphis LEAD Program, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the YMCA of the Mid-South, Mechanical Contractors Association of America Educational & Research Foundation, and committee work for philanthropic and non-profits such as Palmer Home for Children, Streets Ministries, Young Life, Getwell Church, St. Timothy's Church, and others. When travel schedules permit, he also enjoys coaching youth sports teams in the local community. Born and raised on a small farm in the heart of Mississippi's Delta region, Roscoe is an eclectic spirit whose interests include family, business, marketing, advertising, golf, hunting, fishing, guitar, tennis, outdoors, and music. Roscoe is a proud Mississippi State University graduate and married with four amazing children.
