A Partner in International Operations: Doing business outside of the U.S. is the norm but is not without complexity and cultural barriers. I had the enlightening opportunity to live and work in Singapore as an expatriate regional CFO responsible for Asia and Europe; my experience also includes establishing a Finance & Accounting hub in Brno Czech Republic for regional reporting and analysis, and overseeing the establishment of regional shared services for China, Japan, and Taiwan facilities.
