I joined Merrill in 2017 as a Financial Advisor and Senior Portfolio Advisor with twenty-eight years of experience in financial services. I received a Master of Business Administration from New York University in 1994 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University in 1989. I began my career in 1989 as a sell-side High Yield Research Analyst, mentored by several research professionals highly ranked by Institutional Investor. From 1993 through 2016, I served as a Portfolio Manager with a focus on the leveraged finance markets and alternative investments. In this period, I managed mutual, hedge, and structured credit funds (CLO/CDO). I built and led investment teams that actively invested in single and multi-strategy funds.During my tenures at three asset management firms, I served as a member of their investment and executive committees. These roles involved extensive business development and client relations, including separate account management for family offices and individuals.
