Always keen to explore new opportunities and to look for synergy with 3rd sector, public sector and commercial organisations. - Led new business strategy generating £2m of income in a business worth £4m. - Wrote employer engagement strategy and developed a business case for a marginalised group within society to aid employers to better meet CSR requirements and have a more diverse workforce. - Wrote and implemented a strategy that increased Mencap's national employer partners from 2 to 10 in 3 years. - Led national work experience initiative which progressed from 8 placements in year 1 to over 200 in year 4. - Secured Royal Mencap Society inclusion on Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers
