With experience across four different industries and a career spanning multiple countries, I consider myself a “builder” in the HR space, as all the roles that I have taken up so far were newly established ones. In every opportunity, I have traveled a journey of defining what the role can achieve, identifying the problems that need to be addressed and delivering on solutions. With 4-year Engineering and 2- year Master’s in HR, I started my career with one of the most respected companies in India ,ITC Limited . Very early in my career, I received insight into scale and transferable HR skills. During my tenure in ITC, I delivered on a Knowledge Management portal, Career path solution , Competency based assessment framework. A few years in ITC, I wanted to take my career global and a very relevant opportunity opened up with Wipro . I was one out of the three HR SMEs on a strategic deal Wipro had won with a major bank, working with C-suite HR leaders to redesign their HR programs . In this role, I got exposure into process re-design as well as client management. The parent processes were running out of US, EMEA and APAC and the to-be processes were in Poland and India Following Wipro, I joined Headstrong ( a privately held global organization based out of NY) as an HRBP and over a span of 5 years ( which also witnessed Headstrong’s acquisition by a publicly traded company Genpact. I went on to be the HR leader for US and Canada , redefined the HRBP role, represented people track in M&A along with working on Learning and Development solutions. After witnessing large scale organizations with headcount ranging from 10,000-60,000 I wanted to work small and experience an entrepreneurial set up where I could set up solutions from grounds up. This led me to MediaMath where I have held various roles ( People ops lead, L&D Lead, Global HRBP). I am currently in the role of a Global HR Business Partner at MediaMath, New York.
