Experienced Chief Development Officer with a demonstrated history of success working in higher education and performing arts. I believe in the power of education to change lives, communities and the world. I believe in the power of art to help us truly see our humanity. My career has been about unleashing human potential through education, the arts and philanthropy My early training as an actor provided me with an artist’s vision. Working professionally as a stage manager taught me how to manage diverse groups of people working in a complex environment toward a common goal with an inflexible deadline. My experience as a general manager for a ballet company and managing director for a theatre company provided me the opportunity to develop operational and fundraising excellence. I am grateful for the generous mentors who helped me on my journey and the valuable lessons learned living in these roles. I enjoy helping people connect the meaning in their lives to philanthropy. I am passionate about learning, leading and giving.
