Retired Computer Audit Manager who worked in IT Audit for over 25 years. An ITIL foundation level Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) who was an active ISACA member and fully Qualified in Computer Audit (QiCA) by the Institute of Internal Audit. I'm an experienced IT audit professional whose specialist areas include Continuous Management Monitoring Control Assurance and IT Governance arrangements (ISO:38500), ITIL Gap Analysis, Post and Pre-Implementation reviews, Digital, Network Infrastructure and operating system audits, Business Application Systems, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan audits, IT Risk Assessment and IT Security Standard Gap Analysis Audits based on security frameworks such as the Cyber Essentials Scheme, the UK government Code of Connection and ISO:27001/2. I was a Computer Coding Officer in the Civil Service before I spent 10 years at the GLC and London Fire Brigade in IT Systems Design (SSADM), Development and Project Implementation (PRINCE) . I moved from IT delivery to IT Audit at LB Lewisham in 1990 before I joined Deloitte as an IT Audit Manager in 1999 and moved to Mazars in 2013. I always worked in a very wide range of Internal and External Audit client environments across a range of sectors, [Public, Energy, FSA, Retail and Manufacturing]. I helped lead the delivery of IT Audit Assurance Activities to our clients within a cracking team of IT Audit professionals where I specalised in Technical Network Infrastructure Security, Databases and Project Management Assurances as well as business application systems and compliance reviews. My current role involves management of demanding team delivery goals and staff development priorities while also maintaining excellent relationships with clients and colleagues.
