Marriott International is a group of hotels and resonts that specialised in hospitality,lodging and travel, headquartered in Bethesda,Maryland.

I do a lot of things for a living, most of them have to do with creativity. As the Senior Director of UX Design at Macy's and Bloomingdale's, Arzan has over 20 years of experience in the design and marketing field. He leads a large team of inter-disciplinary designers responsible for the entire shopping experience of Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com. Recently, he helped lead the company redesign and replatform the Macy's eCommerce experience and launch the Marketplace line of their shopping business. His team also re-activated and redesigned the Registry business in 2022 to jumpstart the lag that business line has had due to the pandemic. Arzan has also served as Senior Director of Global Digital Design and Research at Marriott International for 7 years, where he was responsible for leading the design, research, UX discovery, product evaluation, and conversion for Marriott's core shopping experience and platform, a $22 billion responsibility. He also led the creative execution for Marriott's brand sites, homepage and search, Marriott Moments, and Book Direct strategy, which translated to a $100 million increase in revenue. He is also an adjunct faculty at Montgomery College where he teaches beginner and intermediate level classes on graphic design principles, composition, color, typeface, grid layout, and advanced design principles. He also conducts and organizes industry projects with students to provide them real-world recognition and has received the Ad Club of DC award for student recognition.
