As SVP of Sales at MarkLogic, I lead the worldwide sales and technical sales teams. We are typically the first point of contact for new prospective customers – together, we then investigate the value which can be delivered by integrating existing data silos to provide access to all of the company's data.This pioneering process is exciting and rewarding; the first steps on the ladder towards what we at MarkLogic call a Positive Customer Outcome. This goal drives everything we do.It is invariably a voyage of mutual discovery as we learn about the customer’s business and they discover what is possible with our technology.In my 5 years with MarkLogic, I have met with leading global organizations from almost every industry – including financial services, media and entertainment, government, automotive, manufacturing and healthcare – they turn to the MarkLogic NoSQL database as their next generation technology solution.  There is always a moment when the blue touch paper is lit and after that, things start to move quickly; first with the customers’ imagination of what is possible and then the reality of disrupting 'relational database thinking', integrating data silos and rapidly solving business challenges.MarkLogic is not just the world’s best database for integrating data silos, we are also an organization that understands the evolving data needs of our clients.
