During my 30+ years in the restaurant business, I have come to know two passions; my family, and helping small, quality brands grow and succeed. I am a strong advocate for quality over quantity and therefore align myself with management who value this concept as I do. This philosophy has paved my road to success from my first job to my current position as President and CEO of Marco’s Franchising. After tasting the consistently delicious Ah!thentic Italian Pizza from five Marco’s Pizza stores, I knew this was a company of great potential. I purchased the franchise rights in 2004 when Marco’s operated 113 stores. With the company’s 26 years of experience delivering a standard-setting quality product, it deserved to be a national chain. We put together a team of experts who packaged the Marco’s Pizza brand while maintaining the high quality pizza founder Pat Giammarco created. In just six years we have opened more than 170 additional stores, are now in 25 states, have plans for over 1100 additional stores over the next five to seven years, entered a $100 million deal that will make Family Video our largest franchisee, and currently hold the title of 'Fastest Growing Pizza Company in the United States.' And we are just getting started.
