Prior to Manitowoc, Ion served as Vice President for Pentair's $260M Flow Technologies business leading strategic marketing, new product innovation, product management, acquisitions, marketing communications and customer service; Senior Director, Marketing for CNH Industrial's $1B North American construction and light utility agriculture products leading brand development, brand positioning, marketing strategy, integrated marketing plans and implementation, product management and strategy, new product launches, brand communications, public relations, pricing and incentives. Prior to CNH, Ion served with Ford Motor Company leading marketing, brand and product management, channel development, sales and parts & service including Marketing Director of Ford Japan, Advanced Product Strategy Manager, Global Fleet Sales Manager serving 117 countries. Ion holds an MBA from University of Detroit and BA degrees in Economics and Japanese from UCLA.
