Beethoven of the Bottom Line
Mango Languages creates lovable language-learning experiences for libraries, schools, corporations, government agencies, and individuals. Mango s software teaches real conversations in over 70 languages with engaging grammar, culture, vocabulary, and pronunciation lessons. You ll learn to speak new languages and meet new cultures through authentic experiences, like overhearing a conversation between native speakers, watching a suspense-ridden action flick, or singing along with a romantic pop song.
I bridge the gap between Mango's growing departments and tear down silos to improve communiation and visibility in a small but fast growing company. I scrutinize my scorecard like an analyst scours earnings reports. I allocate resources to maximize value and growth while mitigating risk. With the focus of an orchestra conductor, alignment of the companys goals and initiatives is my ambition. I shape the strategy of a young company that is bursting with energy and enthusiasm, that is eager to enrich the world with language and culture I provide project management expertise in multiple environments. Through constant interraction in a vairety of cultures and languages, I communicate with over 40 linguists located around the world. I get to say neehow, drastvutche, Ohyo, Yasoo and deas dooweet. Through careful planning and coordinating with linguists, editors, stylists, and voice talent, I oversee the content creation. I have earned the title Deadline Dictator (which I'm fond of) as well as the nickname Deadline Impossible (a little less so). My office is decorated with gantt charts, pie charts, cascading messages, rocks, and trendlines. Specialties: Passed Chartered Finance Analyst [CFA] level one exam June 2009
