Jeff Gattis has over fifteen years of strategic product management, P&L management, brand development, and marketing experience in consumer technology sectors in the US and international markets. He has a proven track record of leading successful innovation efforts and building start-up cultures in well-established corporate environments.In his current role at Magic Leap, Gattis leads the Product Marketing discipline with responsibility for product definition, customer segmentation, and go to market strategy.Prior to joining Magic Leap Gattis led the global marketing organization for HTC's Connected Products division; overseeing HTC's entry into the Virtual Reality market with the HTC VIve, as well as a portfolio of connected fitness wearables developed in partnership with Under Armour.Previously, he spent 4.5 years at Microsoft where he led the development and launch of the award-winning Microsoft Surface, the world's first multi-touch surface computer. In addition to leading the product team, Gattis built and managed the company's business development organization for the Surface resulting in key partnerships with leading brands including AT&T, Starwood Hotels, Caesars Entertainment and Disney.Gattis has also held the role of President at Odysii Inc., a marketing intelligence software company based in New York City, where he led Odysii's overall business in North America; and later served at Qualcomm Inc. where he led consumer product management for Qualcomm’s mobile TV division. Gattis holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Miami and an MBA from San Diego State University.
