Orla O'Brien is a Director, Ratings Communications at S&P Global. She is responsible for leading and executing communications programs across multiple high-profile practice areas within the Ratings business. Prior to joining S&P, Orla was a vice president at Loomis, Sayles & Company and the firm’s media relations manager. Responsible for implementing public relations strategies globally, she also managed development of the social media program to increase reach of the firm’s thought leadership. Orla has worked in financial services since 2006. Previously, she was an assistant vice president and global sourcing analyst at State Street Corporation. Orla earned a BA in journalism from Saint Michael’s College and a MBA from Boston University.
