Lawrence Memorial Hospital (LMH) is a 173-bed community hospital owned by the City of Lawrence, Kansas. It is licensed for 146 acute care beds, 15 rehab, and 12 skilled nursing facility beds. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). LMH receives no tax support from the city or county and serves the community's health care needs regardless of individuals' ability to pay. Dedicated to improving the health of the community, as a not-for-profit hospital, LMH invests all excess revenues in services, equipment and facilities, which further that mission.

Assumed the role of President and CEO for Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS, beginning 8/1/16. LMH is a great community hospital serving a PSA of 120,000 in Douglas County and surrounding area. The hospital enjoys a excellent community support and has a legacy of outstanding clinical care and a compassionate spirit. LMH has been selected as a Truven top 100 Hospital four years in a row and is among the smallest A rated hospital with Moody's. LMH has an operating budget of about $220M, staff of 1250 with 90+ employed/aligned providers. Was Senior Vice President for Network Development and Outreach at Centura Health in Colorado. Responsible for strategy and execution of their Outreach Health programs. Centura is a 18 hospital, $3.2B integrated healthcare organization seeking to bridge the gap between volume-based healthcare to Value-based. CEO of San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center (now San Luis Valley Health) for 12.5 yrs. Two hospital organization serving rural southern Colorado valley of 48,000 people across 8,000 square miles. Includes Conejos County Hospital and 60+ employed providers practicing in five locations serving the Valley. Previously, COO of Edinburg (TX) Regional Medical Center with UHS Inc. Additionally Assistant Administrator of Operations at Saint Luke’s Northland Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and V.P. of operations for VHA Iowa. Chairman for the AHA Region 8 Policy Board composed of six states in the Mountain west. Served on the AHA Board if Trustees three years from 2010-2012. Past member of governing council for Section for Small or Rural Hospitals and served the RPB 8 in ’08-‘09. Received the AHA’s Shirley Ann Monroe Leadership Award in 2007. He was also the 2007 winner of the Rural Healthcare Excellence Award presented by the Colorado Rural Health Center to honor notable contributions to health care in rural Colorado.
