Lincoln welcomed this new legislation, and responded by developing services and products to help 403(b) plan participants take advantage of the new investment opportunity. Today, our leadership in the 403(b) and related markets enables us to successfully serve organizations in the for-profit sector as well, and includes 401(k) and other for-profit retirement plans.

James Burr is an accomplished management executive who specializes in working in small entrepreneurial environments with supervisory teams to enhance profits and ROI. He has worked on both the strategic and operational sides of businesses. Over the course of his career he has concentrated on improving operating results by streamlining supply chains, identifying and negotiating cost savings, creating sales incentive programs, establishing KPI's and managing for their improvement, negotiating credit agreements, and built customer service teams. James's professional career includes 10 years as CEO of David Burr, Inc. a multi unit apparel chain in the New York metropolitan market and 10 years as COO of Uniformity a uniform distributor. Uniformity was a startup company that James began in 2000. He was responsible for establishing all aspects of the company including client acquisition, site location and build out, setting up procedures and policies, acquiring IT infrastructure, and inventory purchasing.
