Petar joined Leanplum in August 2014 and currently leads it's Finance, Operations, and HR teams in scaling the business in a hyper growth mode and increasing the overall efficiency of the company. He helped Leanplum raise more than $40 Million in funding from top-tier investors like KPCB, Shasta Ventures, and Canaan Partners and expand its team and operations from 10 to 150+ employees spread on 3 continents, in 5 countries, and 6 offices around the globe.In the past, Petar built a very successful track record at NEVEQ, where he was member of the founding team and closed 4 of the investments of the fund, comprising more than 60% of the assets under management. His areas of focus include enterprise SaaS, enterprise software, semantic technology, consumer internet, mobile technology, data centers, and financial technology, and payment systems. Before starting NEVEQ, Petar was a successful CTO and led the product development of Reality Invent, a French start-up company developing digital signage solutions. Between 2000 and 2004 he worked at Orbitel, the biggest alternative telecom in Bulgaria at the time, where he developed and managed the hosting and virtualization systems of the company, worked on the development of the billing systems, and also consulted key clients of the company.
