I am currently the Electrical Team Lead and a Principal Electrical Engineer within the Buildings and Places division of AECOM. Recent detailed designs include a large-scale Ammunition Forge on behalf of Rheinmetall and NIOA, Defence HV and LV infrastructure/Hangar/Workshops and SCIFs, Healthcare, Accommodation, Explosive Storage Facilities, and Commercial offices both new and refurbished. My electrical design competency encompasses Building Services, Low voltage design, Lighting Design, Power Distribution and Power Generation. I also manage multi-disciplinary projects and am a lead verifier within AECOM. Further qualifications include Hazardous Area Classification and Design and encompass the Defence space with Explosive Ordnance designs including REA and EHA. I am also familiar with Dangerous Goods Classification in Defence and Health applications. With previous employment as a Services Engineer for Laing O'Rourke, my exposure also covers Services Engineering in rail and commercial construction and am familiar with procurement, project management and people management. Lastly, I am a Senior Lecturer at the Engineering Institute of Technology for various Advanced Diplomas and Certificates associated with the field of Engineering.
