The Louisiana Delta Community College Campus Security Office is dedicated to a professional and proactive approach to campus safety. My passion is people development, and my gifts align with that passion. I’m drawn to opportunities that allow me to use that gift to help organizations realize their maximum potential through thoughtful, intentional, people-focused solutions. People are a company’s most significant and valuable commodity. Companies were trending away from this school of thought, focusing most on the bottom line. However, as the global marketplace became more of a reality and competition stiffened, they’ve had to return to, perhaps, the one thing that mattered most: their people. They are discovering it literally pays to “see” their people. If your desire is growth, expansion, or competency…, start with investing in your leadership. Culture is met with lasting and significant change when gatekeepers reflect what’s needed. During my more than twenty years of experience in the field of communications and public relations, I’ve learned a thing or two about organizational health and wealth. There are key attributes present within companies that succeed in establishing and maintaining healthy cultures. It doesn’t happen by chance. It has to be intentional, and it has to be a priority.
