Leads the Company in all loss prevention, human resources, labor relations and employee benefits areas, including environmental, employee health and safety, workers compensation and physical assets. Responsible for corporate-wide regulatory compliance at all levels, training and awareness, pro-active prevention systems and emergency preparedness management, as well as directing all of the people functions and employee benefits activities of the Corporation. Participates as a member of the mergers and acquisitions team, responsible for due diligence assessment of acquisition facilities to determine compliance with EH&S regulations and cost analysis of HR and Benefits liabilities. Identify potential environmental liabilities when divesting properties and responsible for disposing of contaminated sites while minimizing liabilities.
