Prior to this he spent four years as Financial Controller of the Performance Chemicals and Fuel Specialties divisions. Before joining the company in 2002, Ian held a number of senior financial management and accounting positions. He spent three years as Financial Controller of the Superabsorbents division of BASF plc. and also worked as an accountant in private practice. He has a Master of Social Science degree from Birmingham University. Innospec Inc. is a $1.5B turnover international specialty chemicals company with approximately 2000 employees in 23 countries. Innospec manufactures and supplies a wide range of specialty chemicals to markets in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. This business also contains Oilfield Specialties which provides specialty chemicals for oil and gas drilling and production operations.
