In my current role, I am HR Systems Director at Inmarsat. I manage a small team and we are responsible for delivering on the continuous roll out and development of our HR and Payroll Systems (SuccessFactors, etc.) Alongside this we develop all people related analytics, providing our business leaders with metrics and management information to drive the people agenda. I also ensure that globally, our processes are fit for purpose and drive all transactional and admin activity that supports and enables the HR function. In my previous role as global HR Director, I managed the entire HR function at SThree, i.e. the Operations team, HRIS, Payroll, our international Consulting and Business Partner community, Global Mobility and our Reward function. As well as being Director of the function, I also managed our HR Transformation initiatives and HR IT roadmap of improvements and activities. I lead with programmes aimed at making us more efficient as a function, including HRIS updates, a global payroll outsourcing programme, and process improvements. I have also lead 2 restructuring programmes; was involved in the divestiture of our job board business and lead with the people piece when we transformed the UK business into an LLP. Prior to this as Head of HR Operations for Colt, I managed our HR Technology solutions, process excellence, data management and HR Systems Programme delivery. I was also the service owner for our outsourced vendors (i.e. payroll and RPO).My role before that as HR Director of Operations, Europe, Yahoo, focused on the management of HR systems, management information, HR transformation activities as well as management of HR service delivery. I was also the European Lead for any HR guidance on M&A activity. My career before that was in Professional Services as an HR consultant, latterly working for Deloitte, again managing HR systems implementations and transformation activities.
