Senior Operating and Technology Executive has served as a CEO and Member of the Board of Directors. Currently IDT’s Executive vice president of global operations and Chief Technology Officer focused primarily on corporate growth and differentiation. Also manages the company’s Operations, procurement, quality, supply chain, foundry engineering, assembly engineering, central product &test engineering, facilities, the IoT Systems Business Unit, PCIe and Standard Product Business Unit, and Design Automation Groups. He also drives IDT in leveraging its existing strengths to increase corporate value while driving the rapid delivery of new products. Prior to joining IDT, was President and CEO of Conexant Systems, Inc. and served on its Board of Directors. Successfully led the company in its transition from a public company to private ownership and through its debt restructuring. Held several executive roles at Conexant Systems, Inc. including COO, co-President, Executive Vice-President for Operations and Chief Technical Officer, with responsibility for global engineering, product development, operations, quality, facilities, IT and associated infrastructure support. Started career in technology with AT&T Bell Labs and managed progressively larger engineering and operations groups with AT&T Microelectronics/Lucent and Agere Systems. Currently also serves as a technology advisor to Pelican Point Capital Management based in Newport Beach, California and as Member of the Board of Directors of Bristol, UK based Blu Wireless Technology. Named twice as the Orange County Technology Executive of the Year to watch in 2014, and 2015 by the Orange County Business Journal. Holds five degrees, including an M.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in physics from The Ohio State University. 64 U.S. patents related to semiconductor process, package and design, and nearly 40 technical articles published.
